It was hypothesized that concussed student athletes would display greater VLFO and decreased accuracy during the Millisecond Letter Number Sequencing Task. This study employed continuous EEG during a letter number sequencing task on concussed and non-concussed individuals to assess deficits related to working memory and attention. The firing rate of the neurons was unaffected until the EEG seizure had been ongoing for over a minute. The ambulatory EEG typically lasts 24 hours. The patient will be allowed to go home and resume normal activities while the EEG continuously records.
